is considered to be the best-preserved example of 14th century domestic architecture in England., This stately house, with its' beautiful gardens, is the setting for Tom Stoppard's haunting play "Arcadia". Our private tour will continue through the Gardens, not only one of the most beautiful in England, but one of the oldest, with recorded references dating back to 1346. The garden we will see was laid out in 1580 and has remained true to its early design.
