Frequently Asked Questions

Our programs are designed, primarily, for nonprofit theaters and their friends. We know that theater lovers and supporters everywhere have discerning tastes and passion for one-of-a-kind experiences; our mission is to bring them closer to Broadway than ever before.

Because of our longstanding commitment to historic preservation and the arts, we love to work with nonprofit theaters. They are our main focus. However, we do enjoy creating Broadway adventures for other qualifying groups, including: corporate or business programs, clubs or guilds, families, and friends. If your group is considering a V.I.P. Tours of New York program, we invite you to schedule a call to learn more.

At V.I.P. Tours of New York, we can accommodate groups of nearly every size. Private programs typically require a 20-guest minimum while shared programs (with one other theater group) typically require a minimum of 10 guests.

Our groups have the best experience when they have enough time to promote the program and invite guests, so we recommend getting started at least 6 months before your scheduled tour. Returning groups can often plan trips in less time.

Because every trip is unique – with exciting insights and surprises along the way. You’ll have access to the people, places, and stories of Broadway that most people never will. Although there are no ziplines or summits to peak, your customized luxury Broadway adventure will be every bit as thrilling.

The price of each program varies and is determined, in part, by hotel rates, the number of shows you will see, and any special extras your group may desire. In every case, we work with you to develop an itinerary for your guests that is priceless.

The short answer: yes. But we’d love to learn more about your group by talking with you. Click to book a call.

You could. But we don’t recommend it, and here’s why: planning a group trip requires a lot of effort and takes your staff away from their important work. We save you time and money by handling every detail from the invitation, to registration and payments, to booking all of your shows, restaurant reservations, and behind-the-scenes events – at no cost to your theater. Additionally, we offer a step-by-step marketing guide to help you promote the trip to your theater community.

We know that running a theater is a lot of work, so we take care of all the legwork involved in creating a magical Broadway experience that your guests will treasure.

Every guest with V.I.P. Tours of New York has the opportunity to choose the shows they want to see. We provide a complete list with descriptions of every available show to help you decide. Some groups opt to attend one show together and two on their own.

The Broadway Adventure typically includes three shows. Often, there are periods of free time during which guests may choose to take in additional shows – we can help arrange those tickets as well.

Our clients appreciate the finer things in life, which is why we select hotels near Times Square that offer superior accommodations and luxury amenities like the Knickerbocker Hotel , the Intercontinental, and the Westin. All guests have the opportunity to select their preferred room type and often enjoy special upgrades as a result of our excellent hotel relationships.

While we love to concentrate on Broadway, we also take groups to Edinburgh for the Fringe and International Theater Festivals. In addition, we organize cultural trips in support of the Cuban People to Havana, Cuba.

Let’s uncover the magic of Broadway together!
